ADULTS 18+ WELCOME
Our program is specifically for adults.
No prior experience necessary.
NO INSTRUMENTS NEEDED!
Pipers and drummers begin learning on practice chanters
and practice pads which we will discuss as part of your
enrollment.
There is no need to purchase anything before signing up!
Build effective technique, rudiments and rhythmic control to confidently provide the driving beat of the band.
Establish a strong practice habit, learn how to listen and work as a musical team, and enjoy being part of the show!
Thursday Evenings in Schaumburg, IL
Classes meet at our rehearsal location Our Saviour's United Methodist Church
701 E. Schaumburg Rd.
From 6:00pm to 6:45pm
Our principal leaders will be teaching all new beginners!
Pipe Major Mary Thrasher will instruct pipers while Lead Drummer Andrew Hoinacki instructs drummers.
If you're coming to our Academy with any prior experience and need mentorship to reach performance level, you'll learn from our development group leaders, Pipe Major Paul Napolitano and Lead Drummer Jason Foreman.
